SRINAGAR, Dec 4: Srinagar recorded coldest night of the season so far at minus 3.2 degrees Celsius as the temperatures started dipping across Kashmir.
The Meteorological department said that minimum temperatures continued falling across the State today with Srinagar recording its coldest night of the season so far at minus 3.2 degrees Celsius.
The official said that minimum temperatures were likely to drop further due to clear night sky as mainly dry weather was expected in the next seven days in the state.
Pahalgam was at minus 5.5 degrees Celsius, Gulmarg minus 4.0 degrees Celsius, Leh minus 10.6 degrees Celsius, Kargil minus 9.7 degrees Celsius, Jammu city 8.9 degrees Celsius, Katra 8.6 degrees Celsius, Batote 3.4 degrees Celsius, Banihal 2.5 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 1.3 degrees Celsius.
The day temperates at Srinagar was recorded 11.2 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam was at 11.0 degrees Celsius, Gulmarg 7.0 degrees Celsius, Leh 8.2 degrees Celsius, Kargil minus 4.0 degrees Celsius, Jammu city 23.5 degrees Celsius, Katra 20.4 degrees Celsius, Batote 17.3 degrees Celsius, Banihal 17.1 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 15.8 degrees Celsius.
