NEW DELHI, Dec 14: Barring a slide in coconut oil on sluggish demand, other edible and non-edible oils held steady at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today.
Marketmen said sluggish demand from retailers and lower advices from producing regions mainly put pressure on coconut oil prices.
In the national capital, coconut oil declined by Rs 20 to Rs 1,350-1,400 per tin.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,160-1,290.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 8,000, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 2,000-2,050, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,300, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,280-1,360, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,365-1,465, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 11,600, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,350, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,050, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,500, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,350, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,400, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,000, Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin)1,350-1,400.
Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,000, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,200-9,300, Neem 5,300-5,400, Rice Bran 3,170-3,270 and Palm Fatty 3,225-3,300.
