Coalition pursuing agenda of peace, development: Mahajan

JAMMU, Oct 27: Reiterating commitment of his party to solve problems of  the common masses, general secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ved Mahajan today said  that PDP-BJP Coalition Government under the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti  is going to change destiny of the people of the State.
He claimed that this Government would carve out a new path of growth and equitable development in the State.
Addressing  a  meeting at Nagrota organized by Zonal president Neeraj Sharma, Mahajan said that PDP led Government has formulated a visionary policy to address grievances of the people. He mentioned that “Agenda of  Alliance”, formulated by the coalition partners, is a revolutionary  document which is formulated to address problems of all sections of the society.
“It is high time for all political parties of the State to shun their petty political interests for over-all development and growth of the State”, Mahajan said and added that PDP-BJP coalition is committed to minimise miseries of the people.
Calling upon party workers to reach out to the masses to solve their problems, general secretary of the PDP said that coalition regime has taken many revolutionary steps to address grievances of the people. He said that J&K  was going to script a new chapter of peace and development under the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti.
He asked the party workers to work with zeal and dedication to solve basic problems of the common masses.
Highlighting achievements of PDP-BJP Government in the State, Mahajan said that this regime has earned credibility and trust of the common masses.
The PDP leader further said that the appointment of  Dineshwar Sharma as interlocutor by the Centre is an indication that PDP’s pro-peace policies yielding are encouraging results.
