Coalition hell bent to rig polls: PDP

JAMMU, Mar 21: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat Yash Pal Sharma today alleged that ruling coalition was hell-bent to rig the coming Lok Sabha elections by abusing official machinery.
Addressing series of meetings in Jammu city, Yash Pal Sharma cautioned party workers against nefarious designs of ruling coalition.  He mentioned that the way how coalition leaders had brazenly abused officially machinery and violated Model Code of Conduct was a clear indication of the dangerous game-plan of coalition.
He said that coalition leaders and Ministers had made their force entry into the office of the Returning Officer despite that the fact that clear instructions were issued that only four persons would be allowed to accompany the candidate while filing nomination papers.
Sharma said that National Conference is notorious for rigging elections and with the connivance of Congress, coalition is desperately trying to rig the coming Lok Sabha elections.
Meanwhile State secretary of PDP Surinder Choudhary while addressing series of public meetings at Laman, Muthwal, Kuldabi, Bagla, Minka, Kanora and Thangore areas said that fearing defeat the Lok Sabha leaders of NC-Congress coalition have been brazenly abusing official machinery.
He said that NC and Congress leaders were panicked over encouraging response being given to the PDP by the common masses. He said that frustrated NC, Congress leaders have been misusing official machinery.
