Coalition a blind horse riding towards unknown destination: Mir

BARAMULLA, May 10: Former Minister and  Pradesh Congress Committee president  Ghulam Ahmed Mir has said that Congress will stage a comeback both in the country and the State as people of  the country and J&K have realized the politics of deception of  BJP and PDP.
Addressing Congress convention  here today, PCC chief said both the parties polarized the situation for coming into power in the State and their lust  for power have exposed them before the people.  Mir said both the parties had hidden understanding before the election to polarize the sentiments of the people of Kashmir and Jammu regions as part of their strategy.  He said they delayed in formation of Govt after electoral results was only to finalize pre planned understanding and their common minimum agenda was an eye wash to dupe the people of the State.
He cautioned and asked the people not to expect anything positive from Coalition Govt as it is a blind horse riding towards unknown destination. He said they (PDP BJP) do not trust each other, PDP is going one way and BJP another way, just to mislead the people and gain political mileage both in Kashmir and Jammu. He felt confident that people will themselves answer them in coming days.
Mir  criticized Chief Minister for justifying  his joining hands  with BJP for the sake of funds for rebuilding State’s infrastructure and  rehabilitation of  flood affected people.
He asked what happened to Rs 44000 crores relief Package ? It was  just for gaining political mileage out of it, if Mufti Saheb and his Coalition partner  would have been really serious about the rehabilitation of affected people, then, they would have got it done by one way or the other. He assured the people  that Congress Party will fight for the them and will continue to raise the issue of rehabilitation of flood affected people both in State Legislature and Parliament.
Terming the Congress party an instrument of service and unifying force, he said Congress Party is fully committed for well being and development of the people and has the most important duty to maintain secular fabric  and safeguard the interests of common masses.  He urged he Party cadres to fight for the issues of people and expose the  failures and wrong policies of coalition Govt. Haji Abdul Rashid Dar MLA while addressing the gathering said that Congress Party is a vibrant situation in all the three regions of the State and appreciated the steps taken by Party president for further rejuvenating the Party.
Gulam Nabi Monga- MLC,  Mohd Muzffar Parray- MLC , Taj Mohi- Ud- Din former Minister, Usman Majeed and Salman Anees Soz also addressed the gathering.
