JAMMU, July 8: In an endeavour to mitigate the issued faced by officials of the battalion and as a welfare measure, the welfare committee today met under the chairmanship of Sandeep Mehta Commanding Officer (CO) IRP 11th Battalion and sanctioned welfare loan to the tune of Rs 3.7 lakh in favour of eight officers/officials of the battalion.
The sanctioning of welfare loan out of the unit welfare fund is a continuous process and a facility to the officers and Jawans of the J&K Police so as to ensure that they are able to take care of their and their family’s contingencies.
A Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting was also conducted today under the chairmanship of CO IRP 11th Battalion. During the proceedings 25 officials including 23 constables and 2 followers, were cleared for the In-situ grade promotion.
Sandeep Mehta, SSP, CO IRP 11th Battalion exhorted the officials who were given In-situ grade promotions to work with utmost zeal and dedication in future also.
