JAMMU, Aug 19: A meeting of JK Christian Minority Welfare Association (CMWA) held here today under the chairmanship of its chairman Nassir Masih, expressed serious concern over the indifferent attitude of the State Government towards  Christian community.
Nassir Masih said that the community  welcomes the decision of giving reservation to the Pahari and OBC by the State Government and urge that Government should not turn away its ears toward the genuine demand of Christian community.
Describing non inclusion of Christian community under ambit of reservation is a great injustice with the community, particularly after Sikh, Buddhist and now even to the Linguistic based reservation given to the Paharis.    Michael Wazir, president of the association, said we have been treated as refugees in our own mother land for the past 68 years and now the time has come when  Government should work honestly to uplift this suppressed community.
