UDHAMPUR, Jan 30: District Magistrate, Udhampur Ravinder Kumar has directed the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Udhampur to look into the complaint about Government Primary School Takki Education Zone Ghordi Khass West Panchayat of the District being closed for the last two months.
A section of media had reported about the closure of the school recently.
The District Magistrate has said that action as warranted under rules will be taken against the defaulters once the report from CEO is received.
Sources informed that today MOS PMO, Dr. Jatindera Singh has asked the District Magistrate to take action in this matter.
The CEO has constituted a committee under the supervision of the Principal Government Higher Secondary School, Ghordi for facts finding.
Meanwhile, ZEO Ghordi, Dwaraka Nath said that the School was closed only two day back as the single teacher, there was on leave to appear in B. Ed exams while the other teacher was attached.
