JAMMU, May 29:  The Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association has strongly flayed the State Government for not removing pay anomalies and implementing the report submitted by the committee appointed for the purpose.
Talking to media-persons here today, president of the Association Ravi Singh Bhau, accompanied by senior members Sukhbir Singh (gen secy), Anil Mehta,  Ravinder Singh and Yash Pal disclosed that convinced by the demand of removing  pay anomalies of the clerical and equivalent cadre, the Government had constituted a committee headed by the then Principal Secretary, Iqbal Khandey for the purpose. Senior bureaucrats, Basharat Dar and B B Vyas, were the members.
The committee sought and incorporated suggestions from the concerned union representatives and after detailed study it submitted the report to the Government last year but it is unfortunate that the Government is still silent over the issue and it has not implemented the report. He said that employees of this cadre are struggling since long. They have held protests, dharnas and took out rallies but the Government has remained unmoved. The Government is perhaps testing the patience of the employees. He condemned the attitude of the Government and demanded that it should implement the report without any further delay.
