JAMMU, Sept 21: As a part of “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”, a cleanliness drive was held in and around Security Central Pool, here.
The drive was launched under the guidance of Alok Kumar, IGP Security J&K and under the supervision of Ashok Kumar Sharma, Senior Superintendent of Police Security Jammu. Senior officers viz Abdul Hakim Munshi, ASP Security, Kulwant Singh Jasrotia, ASP Security, Vinod Kumar, DySP Security, Mohammad Rafiq Choudhary, DySP and Zahir Abbas, DySP Security participated in the drive.
SSP Security Jammu stressed on keeping whole area including the office establishments, stores, barracks of the jawans, toilets, MT Yard and other places neat and clean. He also stressed for making make cleaning a habit throughout the life to maintain good health and hygienic environment.
All the officers and 100 security personnel including women officials of Security Jammu participated in the drive and made it a successful event.
The participants pledged to continue the cleanliness drive to make a better eco-friendly environment at Security Lines Jammu as well as in their respective localities by involving general public.
