JAMMU, Dec 26: The cleaner of a mini-bus was found dead this morning in his vehicle at Lale-da-Bagh area of city outskirts.
“Ramandeep Singh (30) son of Dhyan Singh, resident of Rajouri, was found dead this morning in the mini-bus bearing registration number JK02BA-2138, when owner/driver of the vehicle came to wake him up for day’s work,” a police official said.
He said prima facie it appears that the man died to excessive intake of alcohol. “However, the exact reason of death will be known only after outcome of postmortem report,” the official said, adding body of the deceased has been handed over to his legal heirs for last rites after completing all medico-legal formalities while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC has been initiated in this connection at police station Domana.
