Srinagar, Jan 27: Scores of students of class 12 today protested against the Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) authorities for withholding their results declared recently.
The students from Magam while alleging that JKBOSE was playing with their career said that their results have not been declared by the authorities citing mass copying.
“Earlier, they said mass copying, but when we went to meet the authorities they said there was some technical error due to which the results were not declared,” said Davood, a student.

There are more than 128 students who had appeared for the class 12 examinations in Magam and whose results have not been declared. “We are not able to start coaching for the competitive exams as they are demanding the results, which we do not have,” they said.
The students said that there was no mass copying whatsoever and if that had happened what was the staff which was on exam duty, doing on that very moment,” they asked.
The students said that they have been visiting the board authorities in order to press them for the declaration of withheld results. “But they are giving us a cold shoulder and do not understand that our career is at stake,” the students said.
The students demand that their result which has been withheld for no reasons should be released as soon as possible so that they could carry on with their studies.
“They cannot jeopardize the career of 128 students; they must hold the culprits accountable, what is our fault in all this; we demand that our results should be declared without any further delay,” the students demanded.
