Class 11th kidnapped student rescued

BHADERWAH, June 11: Police today rescued a kidnapped girl studying in class 11th, while the accused managed to escape.
As per police sources, parents of a class 11th student lodged a complaint with police station Bhaderwah that their daughter had gone missing.
Taking cognizance of the report, police started investigation and finally the girl was recovered.
In a statement to police, the girl alleged that Rahul Sharma, son of Subash Sharma of village Balote Bhaderwah assured her of getting married and took her to a house of his friend in Jammu.
“After 10 days when he (accused) heard about the missing report of the girl has been lodged, he sent me to Bhaderwah by saying that now we will marry in our village in the presence of parents”, victim said.
“When I reached Bhaderwah, the father of the accused took me to Bhaderwah police station and later gave slip leaving her alone”, she added.
The girl was restored to family members after conducting medical examination.
A case under FIR number 72/14 under Section 376 and 366 RPC has been registered a Bhaderwah police station and investigation started.
