MUMBAI, May 2: Drug maker, Claris Lifesciences has received an Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) approval for Metroprolol
Tartrate Injection, having strength of 1 mg/ ml in 5 ml glass vials,from the US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA).
The injection is used to treat angina (chest pain) and hypertension (high blood pressure).
It is also used to treat or prevent heart attack, a release said.
