SRINAGAR, Sept 20: J&K State Legal Service Authority (SLSA) organized Advance Training and Commendation Ceremony of Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) under the patronage of Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed, Chief Justice of J&K High Court (Patron In-Chief J&K State Legal Services Authority) and under the guidance of Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, Executive Chair-man J&K State Legal Services Authority.
The Advance Training was imparted by trained TOT and Assistant Professors from Kashmir University.
The Training Programme was followed by Commendation Ceremony of PLVs and best PLVs of the State namely Younis Iqbal Najar from TLSC Tangmarg, Sarjeel bin Hassan from DLSA Ganderbal and Umesh Kumar from DLSA Bhaderwah and PLVs who were awarded North Zone best PLV award in the year 2015 namely Janak Singh from DLSA Reasi, Gulshan Aara from DLSA Srinagar in the year 2016 were felicitated by Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed, Chief Justice of J&K High Court(Patron In Chief J&K SLSA), Justice Moham-mad Yaqoob Mir (Executive Chairman J&K legal Services Authority), Justice Alok Aradhe, Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, Chairman HCLSC and Justice M.K. Hanjura.
On the occasion, the newsletter of J&K SLSA “Endeavour”, (Koshish) was also released by the dignitaries.
The proceedings were conducted by R.N. Watal, Member Secretary J&K SLSA. On the occasion Registrar General Sanjay Dhar, Registrar Vigilance Puneet Gupta, Jawad Ahmad, Pr. Secretary to Chief Justice, Abdul Rashid Malik Director Judicial Academy, Mohd Yousuf Wani, Registrar Judicial, Srinagar (Wing) Abdul Nasir, Secretary High Court legal Service Committee, Joint Registrar, Farooq Ahmad, Shabir Malik CPC and Umesh Sharma Munsiff Srinagar were present.
