JAMMU, Dec 21: The Civils – an Institute which has produced 28 selections out of 51, including 5 toppers in top 10 in 2017 Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination, has pledged and aspired to make Jammu and Kashmir more administratively strong.
“We will continue with our legacy of producing qualitative administrators so that in coming years, policies and programs of Govt in Jammu and Kashmir would be effectively implemented. Our students are proactively coached and trained, we have an anticipatory administrative socialized mechanism wherein our students are proactively trained to fit in administration better and produce results, I hope they will make a mark when they would be placed in field after training” said K Bashar, chairman of The Civils.
When asked if he was satisfied with results he said, “Ye Dil Maange More, The Civils has produced 50 percent of total selections, which is satisfying but I wish and I want to get more in coming years”.
“From so many years, I am coaching students across length and breadth of the country for IAS and State Service Combined Competitive examinations but the type of brain of students of Jammu and Kashmir is very fertile. Here I have seen progressive brains. They only require canalization of their energy and exposed study mechanism.
“I am of firm belief that they can do wonders and Indeed they are doing marvelous wonders in every field. I feel happy being a party to their wonders,” Bashar said.
He further said that The Civils has maintained a consistency from last 10 years in producing toppers as they never compromise with their SOP and quality mechanism. “We have continuously changed our study pattern with changing examination pattern by UPSC / PSC. Our change with time has made us consistent. Moreover we have a differentiate study target pattern method where we focus on different level of students to get them on a level playing field,” he explained.
Nusrat Khan, Co Chairper-son of the Institute, said that apart from selections from the Institute, female students have performed well. “This is what is known as real woman empowerment,” she added.
