CII members take up issues with Director Industries

JAMMU, May 13: Confeder-ation of Indian Industry (CII) members today projected the issues of the industrialists before the Director Industries here.
The delegation led by Rahul Sahai, vice chairman, CII J&K State Council and comprising of members of Confederation, hailing from Jammu met Rajinder Singh Tara, Director Industries today and discussed the burning issues.
Mr Tara listened to the issues keenly and took note of each of them. He assured that he will look into the matter and act simultaneously. He also shared areas of improvement and asked CII to work closely with his team for the removal of loopholes.
CII delegation shared some of the best practices on `Ease of Doing Business’ in other progressive States. Mr Tara further shared various initiatives and steps taken to ensure smooth working of businesses in the States.
“We are very positive and enthusiastic towards working together with industry in developing a favourable eco-system for industry in J&K. There is indeed to be done a lot in the State and we need cooperation from industry. A holistic approach is needed in all aspects at the ground level,” Mr Tara added.
“CII has been working shoulder to shoulder with State in improving the industrial environment and bringing new investments. There is a lot of potential and growth opportunities in the State and with the right and progressive vision of the Chief Minister, we are looking to have a revolutionary era of industrial growth in the State”, Mr Sahai maintained.
