CII Goa signs MoU with Govt of Goa on entrepreneurship, innovation & skill development

PANAJI, Feb 7: CII Goa in association with Department of Industries, Trade and Commerce, Government of Goa, organized a conclave on entrepreneurship and innovation by bringing together under one roof entrepreneurs, key members of the state government, experienced investors and industry experts from across the country to start an open dialogue to define challenges and start thinking about solutions to foster a robust entrepreneurship and innovation policy for the state in the city on Thursday.
The event saw eminent speakers sharing their thoughts on entrepreneurship, innovation, start up-industry partnerships and early stage investing.
The conclave saw very engaging panel discussions on entrepreneurship, growth and opportunities, wherein the session focused on the investment ecosystem in Goa with an emphasis on entrepreneurship, innovation, and challenges facing investors.
The next panel discussion was on creating synergies between entrepreneurs, industry and Government to boost a vibrant ecosystem for innovation in Goa, wherein the session focused on defining challenges and exploring solutions for fostering strategic relationships between entrepreneurs, industry and government agencies to promote Goa as an attractive destination for new businesses and investors.
Confederation of Indian Industry also signed two Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Department of Industries, Government of Goa, with an objective to create a consultative committee to assess and post assessment policy inputs for Entrepreneurship in the state of Goa. The other Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with the Department of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt of Goa with an objective to promote and enhance skills development initiatives and enhance employment opportunities in the state.
