Christmas Day celebrated with religious fervour, zeal

JAMMU, Dec 24: Christmas Day was celebrated with religious fervour and zeal.
GD Goenka Public School Jammu celebrated Christmas. A special morning assembly was conducted in which the Goenkan pearls showcased their vocal talent by singing lovely songs, playing musical instruments and various dance performances. Christmas carols were sung by the significance of Christmas and the spirit of festivity and good will. Melodious rendition of the Christmas carols by the students and teachers filled the air with vibrancy. All the children were wearing red blazers and they also depicted the presence of Santa Claus in sync with the skit. Principal of the School Rajesh Rathore was also present on the occasion.
Vishwa Bharti Senior Secondary School Akalpur Morh Jammu celebrated Christmas. A special morning assembly was organized in which students from all wings gave their respective presentations on Christmas. The main attraction of the whole programme was the tiny toddlers who came in colourful Santa Clause and fairy dresses. School Principal Annapurna Koul was also present on the occasion.
Christmas celebrations were held in the premises of Delhi Public School Udhampur. The celebrations started with prayers by the school choir followed by Carol singing. All the students came clad in red colour. The main element of surprise for the kids was ‘Our dearest Santa’ who came to spread love and joy amongst the students. Students of pre-primary wing made Santa mask and primary wing students decorated the Christmas tree. Pro Vice Chairman of the school Dr JC Gupta and Principal Dr Kunal Anand were also present.
Sanatan Dharam Higher Secondary School Kanya Vidyalaya, Jhullaka Mohallah celebrated Christmas. Various items were presented by the children. All Management Committee members of the institution were also present on the occasion. Principal Sureshta Gupta advised the children to follow the preaching of Jesus Christ.
Sai Shyam Public Higher Secondary School and Sai Shyam College of Education, Ghou-Manhasan Jammu celebrated Christmas. A Christmas Tree was decorated in middle of School ground and students performed different cultural activities. CL Tickoo, Chairman of Educational Society was the chief guest on the occasion. Principal of College Dr Usha Tickoo highlighted the importance of the festivals among the students. Anita Raina Principal of the School and Prof HK Kitchloo were also present on the occasion.
Students and staff of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Public Higher Secondary School Kunjwani Jammu celebrated Christmas Day. A special assembly was conducted in which students spoke on the significance of the Christmas Day. Cultural programme was held in the school auditorium. Chairman of the school, Principal of the school Gurtaj Singh and Coordinator Senior Wing Gagandeep Kour and Administrator Charanjeet Kour were also present.
A special assembly was organized by International Delhi Public School Kathua on the occasion of Christmas. Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu celebrated Christmas. On the occasion, Rakesh from Global Cancer Concern India in his speech motivated the children to donate generously for cancer patients. Emmanual Sidhu presented carols which engrossed the entire school completely. Beant Kaur presented ‘Shabads’ highlighting the sermons of Guru ji. Principal cum Vice Chairperson of the school Rohini Aima was also present.
Bal Shishu Shiksha Kendra High School Kaluchack celebrated Christmas Day. Students were dressed up like Santa Clause and girls were dressed up like fairies. They sang songs, recited poetry and performed a skit on the birth of Jesus Christ. Principal of the School Anju Bakshi expressed her views on the occasion.
Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua celebrated Christmas. On the occasion, students presented cultural items. Coordinator Monika Sharma, Senior Coordinator Pardeep Kour, Vice Chairperson Rohini Aima and new Principal of the institution Mili R Sumbria were also present on the occasion.
The students of Kartar Public School celebrated Christmas. They held a special assembly and presented speeches on the genesis of the festival. Some students were dressed in the attire of Santa Claus. Tiny tots were dressed in colourful costumes. Some students sang Christmas carols. GLS Public School Talab Tillo Jammu and its playway wing GLS Kids Cocoon Nursery celebrated Christmas. Children had come dressed in different colourful dresses and some boys were dressed as Santas and girls as fairies. Children also performed dance and sang songs. Administrator of the school Gurpreet Singh was also present.

Students and staff of New Rainbow Public High School, Bathindi Morh Jammu celebrated Christmas. The students were dressed as Santa Claus and fairies presented various cultural items. Principal Joginder Kour and Director Harinderpal Singh threw light on the importance of the day.
Bal Bharti School, Channi Himmat celebrated Christmas. On the occasion, students attired as Santa Claus and Fairies presented cultural items. Principal Vikram Singh Charak was also present on the occasion.
Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan celebrated Christmas Day. Various dances, songs, humming of the Christmas carols by young ones with sparkle in their eyes were enjoyed by everyone with great applause. A special assembly was conducted, during which teachers and students threw light on the teachings of Jesus Christ. Inter-class competition was also during which the students made Santa models and decorated Christmas trees. Principal of the institution Gaurav Charak was also present on the occasion.
Chirag Public School, Bathindi celebrated Christmas. A special assembly of the little children was held. Little Santa also made a grand entry and gave adorable poses to click. Tiny toddlers clad in Santa’s and fairies dress looked adorable presented various cultural items. A show and tell competition was conducted. From class 1st, Ashmeet, Alishba and Tabassum bagged first, second and third prizes respectively, whereas from clas 2nd, Sara, Isma and Shafia clinched first, second and third prizes respectively.
Christmas was celebrated at Galaxy Public School, Galaxy Enclave, Sector E Extension Sainik Colony Jammu. Chairman of the institution Arun Sharma was the chief guest. On the occasion, students attired as Santa sang and danced with lots of joy. The children accompanied by Principal Jaspreet Kaur visited Bal Ashram and sung songs.
Doon International School celebrated Christmas. The little DABS dressed up as fairies and Santa Claus made the ambience absolutely colourful, jubilant and divine. A special assembly was conducted where Christmas blessings were bestowed upon everyone through a Christmas prayer. The students presented melodious Christmas carols. Some children spoke on the occasion signifying the reason of celebrating Christmas. Principal Dr Vikesh Kaur was also present on the occasion.
Christmas was celebrated in Stephens International Public School, Miran Sahib by organizing a special assembly. Melodious carols presented by the choir group, followed by enthralling dance performances by students added to the festive atmosphere. Santa too made an impressive appearance into the celebration. Christmas was celebrated at International Delhi Public School Jammu with festivity. Spring Blossom’s Public School, Lakkar Mandi and Bakshi Nagar celebrated Christmas with the melody of Christmas carols. A play was enacted explaining the importance of the festival which was followed by the rendition of a Christmas song.
Christmas was celebrated in Modern Montessori International Pre-School, Jammu with great zeal and enthusiasm. The function started with the speech of the Principal Pragya Gupta highlighting the importance of Christmas. A lively cultural programme was put up by the students. The whole school wore a festive look. Children decorated Christmas tree, made snowman and Christmas cards. Gifts were exchanged among the students. A small skit on the nativity story was presented on the occasion. Different games like Catch it, Throw and win and Feed the Santa were played and enjoyed by the kids. On the occasion, Directors of the school Bhavna Rohmetra and Sapna Rohmetra applauded the efforts of the teachers and students.
Indira Kids Play Way School, Shant Nagar Janipur Jammu celebrated Christmas to commemorate birthday of Jesus Christ. Children attired as Santa Claus and Fairies took part in various activities. Tiny toddlers also tapped feet along with their teachers around X-mas tree. Daffodils Care Convent Pre School Jain Bazar celebrated Christmas Day. The crib and the Christmas Tree was decorated with balloons, stars and buntings. The children were attired as Santa Claus and Fairies and showed the birth of Jesus Christ through a play, sang Christmas carols and danced on the tunes of Jingle Bells. Main attraction of the celebration was Santa’s Ride. Principal Shikha Puri was also present on the occasion.
Apple Kids International Pre- School, Bantalab celebrated Christmas. Clad in colourful and specially designed Christmas dresses, the young students danced on the tunes of popular songs. They also presented various other items. Principal of the school Arti Sharma briefed the students about the importance of Christmas.
