JAMMU, May 20 : Sameer Chrangoo and Vijay Raina known social activists having record of public service, were declared elected as president and general. secretary respectively of Kashmir Samti Delhi (KSD) for a term of two years the elections of which were held today in Union Capital.
Sanjay Koul and Vijay Bhat have been declared elected as vice presidents of the KSD by the Returning Officer. Besides 27 executive members were also elected in these elections and out of them 17 were declared unopposed.
These elections were held smoothly, freely and fairly at eight polling booths installed in the KP dominated pockets of Delhi, under the guidelines of K.S.D Constitution, a handout issued by the Returning Officer said.
Sameer Chrangoo and Vijay Raina elected president and general secretary of the Samiti complimented all the life members and others for their vote and support and assured the life members and other community people to keep themselves fully involved for the community service in general and for KSD institution in particular.
The oath ceremony would be held in the afternoon of May 22, 2019 at the main Hall of KSD Bhawan, Amar Colony, Lajpath Nagar, New Delhi.
