JAMMU, Mar 14: The mystic incantations of the Chorus Fest 16′ organized by Sharda University in Greater Noida concluded with a rip-roaring performance shelved by the full-throated singer, Kanika Kapoor.
The fest that was crammed for 4 days transformed the jaded students into free spirits and nourished their energy through music, literary arts, group and solo dance events, speaking arts and dramatics.
The final day was programmed with events like Mosaic Bolts–an intoxicating group dance event, Rang-Manch–skit performance schemed to entice awareness, Clash of Titans–podium for showcasing debating skills, Treasure Hunt–quest for significant clues in lure of final riddle and Just-a-minute–bold literary event which warrants selective students to speak on an anonymous subject for 60 seconds.
All the events were sandwiched with a cosmopolitan crowd as students from Galgotias University, Delhi University, Amity, SRM (Haryana), GL Bajaj, LPU, AMU, Jammu University, Islamic Universities (Kashmir) and others participated with resonant vitality.
The euphoric trance of events leaped from March 10, 3016, with the instating of Hip Hop programme organized by Hip Hop International, produced by Chorus, in association with SAC entertainment. Calculating the panache of the Chorus Fest, Campus Princess event was also organized by Miss India, wherein a student from LSR, DU named Ishita won the crown and nailed a 30-day grooming for herself, which will be supervised by Miss India.
Mr & Ms Chorus, Mr & Ms Glamor, Rowdies, Nukkad Natak and SurSartaj were some of the eventful events.
Steering to the celebrity domination at Chorus Fest, the University welcomed few highly celebrated personalities. DJ Ray of VH1 Supersonic, Jassi Gill, Singer Babbal Rai and Kanika Kapoor of Baby Doll fame surfed the crowd energy to another literary trance. Also Poonam Mathur, model Harshita Kashyap, Sahil Kapoor of Colors TV fame and Sahil Aneja of Dance India Dance fame were present, launching more enthusiasm in the fest.
