Chopper service from Katra to Vaishno Devi suspended due to rains

JAMMU: The Chopper service from Katra base camp to Vaishno Devi was suspended today due to incessent rains in the region.
“Due to the rains, which started early this morning, the chopper service from Katra base camp to Sanjhi Chhat has been suspended,” official sources here said.
They said during the day no sortie carried any pilgrim to and fro as rains continued.
“The chopper service will resume only after the inclement weather improves,” they added. (AGENCIES)
