JAMMU, Mar 28: A delegation led by Vice Chairman, J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Kissans Daljit Singh Chib and accompanied by President BJP Unit Kargil Mohammad Ali Majaz met President of India Ram Nath Kovind in New Delhi.
The delegation discussed various aspects of agriculture in Jammu and Kashmir and also apprised President about functioning and role of J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Kissans.
The thirteen board members/progressive farmers representing farming community of all the three regions of State namely MM War, Rajesh Kumar, Satpal Charak, Phynchok Tandup, Mohammad Ali Majaz, MA Laway, Urgyan Cheodan, MJ Paray, Surinder Singh, Vijay Dogra, Sunil Dutt, Rakesh Anthal and Narinder Singh were also part of the delegation.
Majaz requested President to look into the matter of vacating Kurbathang Plateau for shifting Kargil town which is under army control.
