Chib Compaigns for Madan Lal

SUCHETGARH, Mar 31: Former Minister and general secretary PCC RS Chib today addressed series of meetings at village Badyal Qazian, Bera, Chakroi, Mokhey and Dewangarh in Suchetgarh Assembly segment of Jammu district to campaign in favour of alliance candidate Madan Lal Sharma.
While addressing in these meetings Mr. Chib said that UPA-I & UPA-II has taken several revolutionary steps to uplift the SCs, Backward and downtrodden sections of the society. He said that the Congress is committed to remove poverty, illiteracy, hunger and backwardness from the country and added that Coalition Government in the State has effectively implemented Centrally sponsored schemes like MNREGA, IAY, RAY, NRHM etc for the benefit of the people.
He hailed the alliance Government decision of sanctioning tehsil status to Schetgarh and a CD block to address the long pending demand of the area
Mr Chib further said that the UPA Government at the Centre and Coalition Government in the State has also taken in consideration the genuine problems of refugees, Jatts, OBC community and said that the issues of different sections of the society especially down trodden sections are on the top agenda of the party. He said that the genuine issues of these sections can’t be brushed aside and they should get their due rights for a better future.
He said that issues of displaced persons, refugees of different categories of 1947, 1965 and 1971 especially of West Pakistan have received priority attention of the Congress party and would continue to seek justice for them by way of one time settlement.
Mr Chib said Madan Lal Sharma has remained on the forefront for highlighting these issues in the Parliament and we must elect him with thumping majority.
