Chhari Yatra to Mata Vaishno Devi will leave on Sept 28: Sahni

JAMMU, Sept 24: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray’s 37th holy Chhari yatra to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi will leave from Maharaja Hari Singh park on September 28.
This was stated by party State president, Manish Sahni while talking to reporters here at party office today. Sahni said that many party officials and devotees are joining this yatra from Jammu province neighbouring states of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Mumbai, Maharashtra. Sahni said that the programme will begin with Maa ka Bhandare at 1 pm and at 2:30 Swami Gangadhar Ji Maharaj will bless the devotees and at 4 o’clock in the afternoon chief guest will light the Akhand Jyot of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, after which Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Sushama Chauhan will flag off the Sobha Yatra.
Sahni further said that the Shoba yatra will leave for Katra via Raghunath Bazar, Purani Mandi, Jain Bazaar, Pakka Danga and on September 29 on the eve of first Navratra Chhari Poojan will be held at Mata Vaishno Devi Darbar. On this occasion president Women Wing, Meenakshi Chhibber, chairman Rakesh Gupta, Ashwani Gupta, general secretary Vikas Bakshi, GI Singh, senior vice president, Surjeet Singh Chib, Sanjeev Kohli, Sandeep Bhagat, Harsh Gupta , Yash Pal Khajuria , secretary Raj Singh, Raju Salaria, Raju Chowdhary, Radhe Ji Maharaj, Balwant Singh, Ghar Singh , Sikandar Singh and many others were present.
