Buddha Amarnath Yatra concludes

POONCH, Aug 31: The annual pilgrimage of Shri Buddha Amarnath Ji concluded today, as the ‘Chhari Yatra’ with holy Mace of Lord Shiva, reached back to Dashnami Akhara at Poonch after a stay of three days at Shri Buddha Amarnath Ji shrine at Mandi.

Chanting Bum Bum Bole, Har Har Mahadev, Jai Baba Buddha Amarnath Ji and unfurling saffron flags in the air, the devotees in Chhari Yatra left Shri Buddha Amarnath Ji Shrine/ Temple along with Shri Shri 1008 Maha Mandleshwar Swami Vishvatmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, holding Holy Mace by a disciple of Swami Ji, after performing special Pooja, devotees and Sadhus, marched towards Dashnami Akhara in Poonch.
Thousands of devotees belonging to all communities, hundreds of Sadhus accompanied the religious procession under tight security. A warm reception was given to Chhari Yatra at Dungus where thousands of devotees gathered for welcoming Swami Ji and Holy Mace and Chhari Yatra. Later, Chhari Mubarakh reached Dashnami Akhara Poonch, Where a guard of honour was given to ‘Chhari Mubarak’ by a Police contingent, after that Chhari was taken to the main shrine with traditional rituals followed by Aarti of Lord Shiva.
Later, a religious function was organized in which Swami Ji felicitated the Deputy Commissioner Poonch Yasin Mohd Choudhary, SSP Poonch Vinay Sharma and District officers and other social and political persons for their support and contribution in the annual pilgrimage of Buddha Amarnath Ji.
