JAMMU, Mar 26: Chhamb Displaced Persons Association-1965,71 has resolved to support Congress candidates Ghulam Nabi Azad and Madan Lal Sharma in the Lok Sabha elections.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the chairmanship of S R Nagial, president of the body, the members unanimously decided to support Madan Lal Sharma from Jammu-Poonch and Ghulam Nabi Azad from Kathua-Udhampur-Doda seat. They said that Congress leadership led by Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz and Mr Azad has helped DPs a lot in resolving their issues. They hoped that Congress can resolve their pending issues and provide them justice.
