BISHNAH, Dec 17: Former Minister and senior Congress leader, Gulchain Singh Charak while conducting hectic door-to-door and corner meetings in villages Kool, Marhol, Allah Colony, Saidgarh, Bhagatpura, Sehora, Kanhal, Bhadur Khan in the Bishnah constituency urged the people to come out in large numbers on December 20, 2014 without any kind of fear, favour or pressures to exercise their votes.
Charak recalled the developmental works carried out by him during his tenure as Minister for the welfare and betterment of people of this constituency. He said it is sad to observe that remaining works of that time have not been completed till date. Infact, the situation has worsened with the passage of time which is quite visible when you go around the villages and towns, he added.
The former Minister said that the development of the constituency is virtually standstill and the representatives of this constituency have failed on all fronts to provide even basic amenities to the people of this area. He reiterated his commitment to develop Bishnah as the Model town and see the progress and prosperity of the people and the overall development of the constituency.
He urged the people to strengthen his hands to enable him execute this job as representative of the people of this border and sensitive constituency.
Charak appreciated involvement of more and more people in his and Congress mission to strengthen democratic institutions and accelerate the pace of development on all fronts.
The senior Congress leader added that now-a-days the ruling party at the Centre is banking heavily on the celebrities and heavy weights for campaigning but failed to gauge the present mood of the people who are not satisfied with the performance of recently formed Government at the Centre.
