My character in ‘Aksar 2’ completely opposite to me: Mohit Madaan

NEW DELHI:  After creating an impact with his Bollywood debut in the 2015 romantic comedy ‘Love Exchange’, actor Mohit Madaan will be looking to impress audiences in his forthcoming film ‘Aksar 2’, a sequel to the 2006 thriller Aksar. Mohit Madaan, credited as Mohit Madan in his last film ‘Love Exchange’, will next be seen as a character named Bachchan in Anant Mahadevan’s ‘Aksar 2’, which is scheduled for release later this year.

Mohit said working in the upcoming film was a “challenge” for him as he was essaying a role vastly different from his real life persona. ”My role in ‘Aksar 2’ is completely opposite to what I am like in real life.

When the director and producer of the Anant Mahadevan called me for an audition. I was given the option to play this role or another one. I chose the character I play in the film because it is something I am not in real life,” Mohit said. Mohit said it was a challenge to perform this role as it was Dar removed from his real life persona.

”I feel that with this film, I will get a chance to grow as an actor and keep doing good films ahead,” the actor said. Mohit, who made his Bollywood debut with the romantIc comedy ‘Love Exchange’, which hit cinema screens in 2015, said his role was pivotal to the story.

”My role is pivotal to the story as I am there throughout the film from the beginning till the end. The climax is sudden and unexpected,” Mohit said. The film will star Gautam Rode, Abhinav Shukla, Zareen Khan and Mohit Madaan in key roles. (AGENCIES)
