JAMMU, Dec 30: Crime Branch Jammu today produced challan against a group of cheats who are accused of providing fake and fabricated qualification, caste certificates etc.
The challan in the case FIR number 13/2005 under Section 420, 467, 468, 471 RPC against Sat Paul of Kartholi Dhiansar Samba, Pawan Kumar of Kartholi Dhiansar Samba, Sohan Lal alias Som Raj of Bhour Camp, Rash Paul of Kalyan R S Pura and Ashok Kumar of Ward Number 8, Bishnah, was produced in the court of CJM Jammu.
The case was registered in Police Station Crime Branch, Jammu on the complaint of Romesh Chand of Dhiansar, Katholi, Samba, who alleged that accused Satpal and Pawan Kumar had taken Rs 8000 from his son Rashpal by assuring him to arrange 8th class certificate and a job for him.
After passage of 5 months, accused persons met with the complainant and told him that it was very difficult to get job on 8th class certificate and suggested him for a Matriculation certificate, Schedule Caste certificate and Permanent Resident Certificate. Accordingly, complainant paid Rs 22000 to Pawan Kumar for arranging the same who provided the certificates which on verification were found fake and fabricated.
During the course of investigation, it was found that accused persons in connivance with each other cheated the complainant and provided him fake and fabricated documents.
