JAMMU, Jan 15: Amrit Malhotra, Chairman, J&K Legislative Council; M.I. Qadri, Advocate General, J&K, M.Y. Tarigami, MLA Kulgam and Er. Rashid, MLA Langate met N.N. Vohra, Governor, here at the Raj Bhavan today.
Mr. Malhotra and the Governor discussed a number of issues relating to the future growth and development of the State.
Mr. Qadri briefed the Governor about several legal matters of high administrative importance which were pending adjudication before the State High Court.
Mr. Tarigami and Er. Rashid apprised the Governor about various post-flood problems and difficulties which have arisen from the prevailing harsh weather.
They also brought to the Governor’s notice several problems in their constituencies which relate to the Power and Public Distribution Departments. The Governor urged the Legislators to continue sustained pursuit of development issues in their constituencies.
