Jammu, Aug 18: Gangyal police busted a chain snatching gang with the arrest of two persons.
As per police sources, Gangyal police led by SHO Noor Malik busted a chain snatching gang and arrested two persons.
The accused have been identified as Rakesh Kumar alias Kannu, son of Kuldeep Sharma and Reshav Sharma alias Pinku, son of Bishan Dass, both resident of Tarore.
A chain, which was snatched on August 9 from Kunjwani area was also recovered from their possession.
The kingpin of the gang namely Kuku is still at large and manhunt is on to nab him.
Meanwhile, Gangyal police arrested a thief namely Satinder Singh, son of Chain Singh, resident of Lower Jallo Chak. The accused was involved in a theft case of a shop.
Further investigation into the cases is going on.
