JAMMU, Oct 2: Nowabad police nabbed a biker and recovered the snatched gold chain from his possession.
As per police sources, a biker on Honda twister motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AS-9548 snatched gold chain of a lady in Talab Tillo area, falling under the jurisdiction of Nowabad Police Station.
The lady raised alarm and the police deployed near the spot immediately swung into action and with the help of people arrested the chain snatcher.
The accused has been identified as Susheel Kumar, son of Panjabu Ram, a resident of Kunjwani.
The arrested biker had covered the number plate of the motorcycle with mud to hide his identity. The bike has been seized and the snatched gold chain was also recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Nowabad Police Station and investigation started.
