RAJOURI, Apr 17: Taking serious cognizance of a video circulating on social media regarding the functioning of Govt Middle School, Panjnara, the School Education Department Rajouri has initiated an official enquiry into the matter.
The viral video allegedly shows the school operating without the presence of teachers, raising concerns among the local community. Residents have further alleged that teachers posted at the institution routinely leave the school premises shortly after marking their attendance, thereby affecting the academic environment and learning outcomes of students.
When contacted, Chief Education Officer Rajouri, Mohd Hafiz said that the department has taken notice of the issue. He informed that an enquiry has been ordered and a Committee comprising two Principals of the Govt Higher Secondary Schools, has been constituted to investigate the matter thoroughly.
The CEO further assured that the enquiry committee has been directed to submit its report at the earliest, and strict disciplinary action will be taken against any official found guilty of negligence or dereliction of duty.
