JAMMU, Aug 17: A borrowers meet was held at Central Bank of India, Zonal Office, under the chairmanship of D D Nayak, Field General Manager, Central Bank of India, Chandigarh Zone.
Both existing as well as prospective borrowers from different locations viz Chandigarh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir participated in the meet. All the Regional Heads under Chandigarh Zone were also present in the meet.
During his address to customers, D D Nayak discussed about present Industry scenario in the Bank. He also informed that the Bank intends to canvas borrowers with proven track record particularly MSME/Exporters under corporate credit. Maintaining that the Bank intends to extend help and support to new MSMEs, he said that the Bank is offering competitive Rate of Interest in all the Retail lending scheme.
“The Bank is committed for suitable disposal of all credit proposals with a fixed Turn Around Time. Bank is equipped with latest technology to facilitate hassle free service to customers,” he added and informed that the Bank has entered into an MoU with SIDBI for loan facilitation to MSMEs for generating complete, rated and validated proposals from MSME /service sector and make available timely and adequate credit to MSME sector.
Earlier, T S Balachandran, Senior Regional Manager, Chandigarh Region, welcomed all the customers and threw light on the lending services being provided by the Bank.
M/s Sataya Packaging and M/s Rashtriya Engg Works along with others appreciated the steps taken by Bank for borrowers’ meet and assured to provide substantial business under different segments. Sushil Jain, Director M/s Veer Overseas Limited and Suresh, Partner M/s Mahavir Rice Mills, requested for enhanced service in respect of their forex transactions.
The customers who attended the meet appreciated the discussions held and vital information received during the meeting to the extent of their satisfaction.
