Cells are backbone of party: Rakesh Mahajan

JAMMU, Sept 8: Rakesh Mahajan, incharge All Cells Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir, while asserting that Cells are the backbone of the party, has said that senior leaders have been appointed as Cell Prabharis to further strengthen the party.
He stated this while conducting a series of meeting of all the Cells of the party here today.
During the meetings, Rakesh Mahajan, while welcoming the appointment of Prabharis, informed the Cell members that realizing the significant role of the Cells in further strengthening the party it has appointed senior BJP leaders namely Dr Nirmal Singh, Kavinder Gupta, Sat Sharma, Devender Singh Rana and Surjeet Singh Slathia as In-charges of various Cells. He said that the senior leaders heading the Cells are undoubtedly going to give a big boost to the functioning of the Cells and ultimately the party.
He said that all the Cells will play a vital role in the party in all times to come but in the near future and these Cells working together in utmost synergy will be a big force rather back bone of the party in the coming elections and will ensure an unprecedented success for BJP in the J&K Assembly elections.
Rakesh discussed with the Cell members the programmes to be organized during the upcoming Pakhwada in connection with the celebrations of PM Narendra Modi’s birthday. He detailed various Cells about the programmes to be conducted by them respectively. He asked the Medical Cell to hold free Ayushman camp; Sanskriti Cell to hold Exhibitions at district level, etc. He specially asked the Sports Cell to organize awareness camps making youth aware about the New Sports Policy and motivate them towards making sports their routine activity or even choosing it as a career. The Weaver Cell was asked to make the people aware about Khadi, promote it so that people prefer Khadi to other textile products.
