This pertains to celebration of National or State level preparations. During preparatory days, the school management keeps the adjoining residents, dancing to their dictates. Since morning till the school time, there is continuous display of bands, beating of the drums and high pitched sound system, creating lot of trouble to the adjoining residents and the noise pollution created adds to the woes of elderly and sick people. If somebody objects to it, he is straight away branded as anti national.
On the actual day, the diversion of traffic creates a situation of chaos and common man, who even does not understand the meaning of constitution, has to face the maximum. The thrust of security forces on the day in the shape of vehicular checking, personal frisking, restricting the entry tot he city, diverting traffic routes add to the suffering of the people. A VIP or people especially invited cannot realize the situation, as they all get easy approach to the venue. If we have to celebrate our national days in such a way, then it it is right time to think, some other way of celebrating them. The expenses incurred on the occasions can be utilized for the teachings of the constitutional provisions and other matters of proud for every citizen, without putting them to trouble and security threats, as it is in the existing scenario.
