LEH, Sept 4: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Leh Gyal P Wangyal and Executive Councillors of LAHDC, Leh met Commissioner Secretary, GAD, A K Sahu at Council Secretariat Leh and had a detail discussion about the important departments under his portfolio.
Wangyal and ECs briefed Sahu about the ongoing developmental projects under Capex Budget and SDP and stressed for timely implementation of Jal Jeeven Mission (JJM) under PHE and major projects under I&FC Department in Leh district. Issues of Education Department were also discussed.
The CEC expressed great hope that the vast administrative experience of A K Sahu including his commendable service as DC Leh from 2008 to 2010 would immensely benefit Ladakh.
Sahu made the meeting aware about the various components of JJM, its objectives and plan of UT administration in achieving the targets of JJM by introducing innovative and new technology in coming days. He assured that he will give his best to achieve maximum and quality results focusing on major new projects under his portfolio in Leh district.
Deputy Chairman Tsering Sandup, Executive Councillor for Agriculture Phuntsog Stanzin, Executive Councillor for Education Konchok Stanzin, Executive Councillor for Minority Mumtaz Hussain and Councillor Upper Leh Ven Lobzang Nyantak was present in the meeting.
