DODA, Mar 29: The Cyber Crime Investigation Unit (CCIU) Doda here today recovered 52 smartphones valuing to Rs. 9,91,894 and returned them to their owners.

Police in Doda had received various complaints about missing of mobile phones and after hectic efforts, the CCIU of Doda Police lead by PSI Ankush Nagra with the technical help of CEIR Portal & ESU Doda traced and recovered 52 lost mobile phones having value of about Rs. 9,91,894 from different States/UTs like Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi, Maharashtra, Bihar etc.
SSP Doda, Sandeep Kumar Mehta handed over these recovered mobile phones to their rightful owners at District Police Office Doda and appealed to the general public to take utmost care of their mobiles as these contain personal data and there is every possibility of misuse.
