CCI holds interactive meet with SSP Jammu

JAMMU, Nov 9: Chamber of  Commerce and Industry Jammu, organized an interactive meeting with the Senior Superintendent of  Police and discussed certain issues of traders and local bazaar associations.
The members of CCI  Jammu led by its president Y V Sharma and accompanied by secretary general Arun Gupta, vice president S L Langar, secretary Deepak Aggarwal besides representatives of transport associations/ unions wholesale traders from Warehouse led by Balbir Gupta and Rattan Lal Gupta,  members of Industries Association led by Annil Suri, during meeting with the SSP Jammu Atul Goel, discussed the problems being faced by transporters and bazaar associations/ traders.
It was also brought to the notice of SSP that group of persons who have made a transport association are compelling all the traders, contractors  to use only their vehicles and they were adopting some coercive  and unlawful means in this regard. They sought appropriate action in this regard. Several other issues regarding illegal parking, collection of parking money for the vehicles parked on road sides etc also came up for discussion. The SSP listened to their issues patiently and assured to resolve them shortly.
