JAMMU, Sept 21: The Citizens Cooperative Bank Ltd., Jammu, has initiated to proceed against its defaulters and recover the loans outstanding against them.
In this regard a well furnished house constructed over a piece of land measuring 5 marlas, at Barnai, North Jammu, was seized by the Tehsildar Recovery Jammu. The owner of the house, namely Naresh Kumar, had taken a housing loan of Rs 7.50 lakh from CCBL Branch office Vinaik Bazar and there was an outstanding of Rs.1589201.00 ( Rs. fifteen lakhs eighty nine thousands two hundred one only) against him as on 18.09.2017. After passing of Award against the party, Tehsildar Recovery Jammu was requested by the bank to take action against the defaulter under Land Revenue Act.
Tehsildar Recovery took possession of the property in presence of concerned Naib Tehsildar of area, Police Authorities, Branch Manager and other staff.
The CCBL is also going to proceed against the defaulters under SRFAESI Act.
