In reference to the news”CM some others……..” DE April 15, 2018.
I would like to say that Lal Singh is right to say that demand for CBI probe into Rassana rape and murder case is quite desirable and justified not to save the culprits, but to punish the culprits.Mr Singh is also right to say that he had done no wrong by visiting the area of offence and meeting the people of his areas.Being a public representative,it is his duty to enquire about the welfare of his electorate.Like any honest leader he has resigned from the Ministry in the best interest of public.
There should be no hesitation in handing over the case to CBI which is the most efficient, reliable and highly professional organisation of the country and has solved many complicated cases like Pradyumna murder case of Gurgaon.Had that case not been given to CBI, the innocent school gardner would have been punished.
Moreover, CBI probe should not be objectionable to any one.It is a highly professional and efficient organisation of the country. So, Mr Singh has done no wrong by demanding a CBI probe.
Hence,it will be in the best interest of justice to all concerned especially the victim that the case should be handed over to the CBI so that the culprits are brought to book.
