CBI conducts raids in trains, DTM office

JAMMU, Jan 8:  Anti-Corruption Bureau of CBI,  Jammu,  has conducted raids at three locations following complaints of  corrupt practices in the running trains, allotment of berths and release of Emergency Quota.
The raids were conducted in  Train No. 12425 (Delhi-Jammu Rajdhani Express) between Kathua Railway Station to Jammu Tawi Railway Station, in Train No. 12445 (Uttar Sampark Kranti Express),  between Kathua Railway Station to Katra Railway Station and in the office of DTM, Northern Railway, Jammu.
During the raids,  irregularities were found in the deployment of the Catering Staff (Train No. 12425) and allotment of berths while extra cash was recovered from the TTE ( Train No. 12445.
The raid in the office of  DTM, Northern Railway, Jammu was  conducted on the allegations of release of Emergency Quota.
Meanwhile, the CBI has also appealed  people to inform SP, CBI, ACB, Panama Chowk, Jammu on 9906040999 and 0191-2477755, if any official of Central Government, Banks and PSUs demands bribe.
