JAMMU, Mar 19: The Crime Branch (CB) Jammu has detained one more youth in connection with the Rassana murder case.
According to sources, one youth from village Rassana who was studying in Meerut (UP) was summoned by Crime Branch Jammu yesterday and has been detained by it for questioning regarding the murder of minor girl whose dead body was found in the Rassana forests on January 17 this year after remaining missing for over a week.
The youth, who is studying in Meerut, had come to his native village Rassana in January this year during vacations.
He has been identified as Vishal and CB has put him to sustained questioning to get more clues about the case. Sources said Vishal is a relative of the juvenile.
With this, six people including a juvenile have been detained by CB in Rassana kidnapping and murder case of a minor girl.
The other persons detained by CB included two SPOs, one Havaldar and SI of Police Station Hiranagar and Vishal who has been summoned from Meerut and detained yesterday.
