Caustic soda rises on fall in supply

NEW DELHI, Mar 29: Caustic soda prices rose by Rs 100 per 50 kg in the national capital today due to increased demand from consuming industries amid fall in supplies.

Caustic soda flake rose by Rs 100 to Rs 2,100-2,200 per 50 kg.

Marketmen said apart from increased demand from detergent manufacturers, fall in supplies from producing belts, mainly pushed up caustic soda prices on the wholesale chemical market here.
