POONCH, Apr 15: A horse and two sheep were killed while three persons injured due to lightning at Rajpura in ward number 4 area of Mandi in Poonch district today.
Family members said that at about 4 AM in the morning, there was thundering in the sky and after it fire broke out in 33 KV line. With its impact three cattle died and three persons injured.
Alleging negligence of PDD authorities, family members said that they intimated the employees of department at that time but prompt action was not taken to disconnect the power supply. The PDD authorities, however, said that it was not the negligence of department rather the whole incident took place due to lightning.
