SRINAGAR: Security forces called off Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) launched in several areas in this north Kashmir district on a tip-off about the presence of militants, official sources said.
They said troops of Rashitriya Rifles (RR), Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF launched a joint search operation in some parts of old town in Baramulla on Thursday following inputs about the presence of militants.
However, the operation was called off and no militant was found during the house to house searches, they said. (AGENCIES)
