UDHAMPUR, June 22: Udhampur police registered a case against Sarv Shakti Sewak Sanstha, which is managing the Machail Mata yatra.
As per reports, a complaint was lodged by Sukesh Gandotra, President, Sarv Shakti Sewak Chandi Mata Mandir Jammu with Police Station Udhampur regarding misappropriation in purchasing cement bags to the tune of Rs 45 lakh from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018.
In the complaint, it was also alleged that such huge quantity of around 12000 bags have never been used with the knowledge of devotees of Shri Chandi Mata at any place.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 275/18 under Sections 420, 406, 120-B RPC has been registered at Udhampur Police Station and investigation started.
