NEW DELHI, May 2: Supported by rising domestic and export demand, cardamom prices rose by 1.14 per cent to Rs 974.20 per kg in futures trade today as speculators created fresh positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in May rose by Rs 11, or 1.14 per cent to Rs 974.20 per kg in business turnover of 280 lots.
Similarly, the spice for delivery in June traded tad higher by 60 paise, or 0.06 per cent to Rs 977.10 per kg in 319 lots.
