UDHAMPUR, July 26: A car along with cash and two mobile phones was stolen by some thieves near KDN Palace Udhampur, where the vehicle was parked, last night.
The car owner, namely Vishal Gupta, son of Vijay Gupta of Nagbani Jammu, had gone there to attend a function at KDN Palace when the thieves struck. After his return from the function around 10.30 p.m, he found the car missing following which a police complaint was lodged.
As per the complaint, two mobile phone sets and a cash of Rs 1.4 lakh was kept inside the stolen car.
Udhampur police has registered a case and started investigation.
